Original Stems by Pop Up Prairie is our new fundraising project! We are offering cut Missouri-native wildflowers in our shop for a donation. The urban environment has become a safe space for declining populations of pollinators as more humans are starting to choose responsible landscaping plants that are not only beautiful, but provide valuable ecological services. By simply planting a Missouri native wildflower, you are immediately improving the overall health and biodiversity of your city. Now take it one step further. Start thinking about the choices you are making when choosing cut flowers for yourself or for a special occasion. Why not think native?

All of the Original Stems by Pop Up Prairie:

• rely solely on Mother Nature

• are native to the Missouri landscape

• are grown in the city of St. Louis

• have deep roots that filter out pollutants in water and purify the air

• are grown outdoors and without irrigation

• are free of fertilizers and pesticides

• are utilized by pollinators

• regenerate readily after cutting

• are ruggedly beautiful and no chemicals are ever used to enhance their beauty

• no floral foam is ever used in the design process.

• For local delivery only - By limiting our deliveries to with ten miles of the city limits we are voluntarily reducing our carbon footprint.

Pop Up Prairie vows to protect the environment for urban wildlife and for the residents of St. Louis. By fulfilling our mission of establishing and maintaining high-quality native habitat, we will, in fact, leave the earth healthier than when we found it. 100% of the proceeds raised will go back to Pop Up Prairie and be reinvested in the health of our city.
